Who is Miss Poppins?

Angela aka Miss Poppins, has worked in the performing and entertainment industry since an early age! Before creating her first baby ballet style dance class in 2015, Angela danced professionally around the UK and abroad at a variety of top venues. As well as dancing, other career highlights include Area Coordinator at Madame Tussauds London, Chief Kids Host & activity programming for Thomson Cruises and managing interactive Christmas grottos in various shopping centres across the south of England.

''When my eldest daughter was about a year old, we found ourselves dancing and dressing up almost non stop for 24hours a day, so I thought, why not start a group for other children with similar interests and see what happens''?!

 

'Baby Ballet' was a huge hit in the local area of Andover and quickly expanded! Birthday parties and events soon followed due to high demand for a 'party with a personal touch' and before long that little idea of starting a group blossomed into a full grown business! 

Relocating to the Isle of Wight in 2020 has seen a new generation of dancers find their magic and lots of collaborations with local schools, entertainers and businesses keep things very exciting for students!

''I'm lucky enough to have three party loving children of my own whom inspire me everyday! I feel being a mum has given me that extra special insight and helps me deliver what children and parents really want out of parties and classes. To be honest, providing activities specifically for pre-schoolers with big imaginations has become quite possibly, my favourite job role ever''!

 

Miss Poppins has bags of professional experience, a naturally nurturing instinct plus a passion like no other, for providing only the BEST in family entertainment!
